Our menu at school is always changing. We offer children a variety of foods and introduce new flavor profiles every now and then, sometimes in concordance with a lesson plan. By getting the kids to contemplate the journey the food took to get to their plate, by examining its texture and temperature, we use food as a springboard for mindfulness training.
